Achievements

• 3rd Place Winner, ThinkQuest International Competition

  June 2011

  Oracle Education Foundation’s ThinkQuest International Competition, 2011. More than 33,000 participants from 52 countries participated in the event, where my team led by me, won the third place, globally. The event tested our critical thinking, communication and technology skills to solve a real life problem. We addressed the problem of lack of Inclusive growth in India using Financial Inclusion.

• Top 8 Developer, Firefox OS App Days

  January 2013

  My team of two was among the top 8 developer teams in the Bangalore edition of the “Mozilla Firefox OS app days”. We won a Firefox OS Developer Preview Mobile Phone for our app.

• 1st Place Winner, Codeplay (Hackathon), VIT University

  April 2014

  My team of two developed a photo-sharing app on iOS during the hackathon and bagged the first prize. I developed the backend for the photo-sharing application.

• Top 5 Teams, Makeathon, (Hackathon), VIT University

  July 2014

  My team of four developed a mobile app that helps doctors bring eye care to people who cannot afford it. This was aimed primarily at brining good health care facilities to rural India.
